Elaine Chan, ​註冊職業治療師 (感統專長)

​Ms. Elaine Chan is a Registered Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of pediatric clinical experience. Her practice encompasses comprehensive case assessments and developmental interventions for children and adolescents. Her extensive clinical background includes delivering pediatric occupational therapy services within public hospital systems and private specialized training centers. Additionally, she provides school-based support and classroom environmental observation interventions for primary and secondary educational institutions. To accommodate families from diverse linguistic backgrounds, assessments and training sessions can be conducted in Cantonese, Mandarin, or English. Her practice primarily serves infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents.

Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy – The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

  • Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education – The Chinese University of Hong Kong

  • Certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT) – University of Southern California, USA

  • Advanced Certified Therapeutic Listening Practitioner

  • Certified Administrator – Hong Kong Test of Handwriting Speed for Secondary School Students (HKTHS-S)

Elaine’s clinical expertise spans sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders (ASD), handwriting difficulties (dysgraphia), and self-care developmental delays. She communicates fluently with students in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, seamlessly adapting to the specific linguistic needs of each family.

Over her career, Elaine has served more than 1,000 children and their families, working with individuals ranging from infancy to young adulthood (ages 0 to 22). The students who visit our center come from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds, including local Hong Kong families, expatriate families from Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe, as well as families traveling from various cities across Mainland China.

Driven by the visible progress in their children's development, many parents who have partnered with Elaine frequently recommend her specialized services to friends and families facing similar developmental challenges.
