About Learn to Grow Therapy Centre

Learn to Grow Therapy Centre provides occupational therapy services for children and adolescents with special learning needs. We recognise that every child's developmental path is unique, and that professional assessment and training can offer appropriate support along the way.

Clinical Experience

Our Occupational Therapist has over 20 years of paediatric experience, working with children on sensory integration difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, handwriting challenges, and delayed self-care skills. Our focus is on preschool and school-age children, with intervention plans tailored to each child's age and abilities.

Age Range

We serve children and adolescents from 0 to 22 years of age, including toddlers, school-age children, and young adults. To date, we have worked with over 1,000 children and their families.

Therapeutic Approach

We view occupational therapy not as a means of "correcting" a child's difficulties, but as a way to understand their unique needs and help them find their own path in daily life, learning, and social interaction. We value each child's intrinsic motivation and engage them through meaningful activities, supporting them in building a sense of competence and confidence.

Service Process

Our service follows a structured process: an initial in-depth assessment to identify the child's strengths and areas of difficulty, followed by a personalised intervention plan based on the assessment findings. Progress is reviewed regularly, and the approach is adjusted as needed. We also maintain close communication with parents, integrating therapeutic strategies into daily routines so that children can practise in familiar settings.

Languages and Cultural Backgrounds

Our therapist is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, allowing for effective communication with children from diverse language backgrounds. The children we have worked with come from various regions, including local families, expatriate families from Japan, Korea, the UK, the US, and Europe residing in Hong Kong, as well as families from Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and Mongolia.
